The Teachers

Lena Costa (Ms. Lena) has been with SBCS since January 2006. She received her bachelor's in Early Childhood Development and Education/K to 6 at University of Delaware in 2005. She is currently attending Wilmington University for her Master's in Special Education and Loyola College for her Master's in Reading Specialist. She has worked with students ranging from infancy to fourth grade, but especially loves kindergarten. Ms. Lena has two cats and a dog, enjoys reading, and loves gardening.

Margo Kurth (Mrs. Kurth) has been teaching for eight years and is joining us for a third year at SBCS. She has also taught in Southern California and Baltimore County. She recently completed her Master's work through Chapman University, Towson University and Goucher College. She is thrilled to have found such a wonderful school community at SBCS and is excited for another eventful year in Kindergarten!
